Fort Scott Community College Volleyball Announces July Youth Camps

Fort Scott Community College Volleyball is excited to host two volleyball camps this July, offering young athletes a chance to develop their skills, gain confidence, and experience the game at a higher level.

The first camp is a Skills Camp scheduled for July 29th from 1-3PM, designed for girls in 4th through 7th grades. This camp focuses on teaching fundamental volleyball skills such as passing, setting, hitting, and serving. Participants will have the opportunity to learn in a fun, supportive environment while interacting directly with FSCC coaches and current athletes. The camp is ideal for players who are new to the sport or looking to strengthen their basics.

Following that, FSCC will host an Elite Camp on July 30th from 1-4PM for girls in 8th through 12th grades. This camp is geared toward more advanced players who want to experience collegiate-level play. Athletes will participate in high-intensity drills, competitive play, and receive instruction and evaluation from FSCC coaches and players. The elite camp provides valuable insight into what it takes to compete at the college level.

Both camps reflect Fort Scott Community College Volleyball’s commitment to player development and community engagement, giving young athletes a chance to learn, grow, and be inspired by the next level of the game.

All athletes who register ahead of time will receive a FSCC Volleyball t-shirt. Register at the links below. Contact Head Coach, Julia McVey at juliam@fortscott.edu for further questions.
