Zach Saint Pierre joined the Fort Scott Community College softball staff as the Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator in August 2025. Bringing a wealth of elite-level playing experience, technical knowledge, and a passion for athlete development, Saint Pierre plays a key role in the training of Greyhound outfielders, catchers and the development of the team’s defensive mechanics.

A retired professional baseball player, Saint Pierre has played four years of professional baseball, most notably with the Oakland Ballers of the Pioneer League (MLB Partnered League). During his time in Oakland, he established himself as a dominant force on the mound, setting franchise records for Wins, Strikeouts, and Innings Pitched. He capped off his 2025 season by helping the Ballers secure the Pioneer League Championship.

Before his professional career, Saint Pierre was a standout pitcher at Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC), where he was named Region XIV Pitcher of the Year. While at BPCC, he earned 2x All-Conference and 1x All-Region accolades and holds the school's career and single-season records for strikeouts.

With over 20 years of playing experience, Coach Saint Pierre brings a specialized approach to training. 

Saint Pierre brings a high-energy, technical approach to the field, focusing on both the mental and physical aspects of the game. He is dedicated to helping young athletes reach their full potential and preparing them for the next level.

He resides in Fort Scott, Kansas, with his wife, Kiana Saint Pierre, who is the Head Softball Coach at Fort Scott Community College.
