Fort Scott first baseman Jaret Nelson hit .529 (9-for-17) scoring 13 runs and knocking in eight. Nelson helped the Greyhounds go 5-0 on the week. His best day of the week was Saturday, where he went 5-for-8 with four doubles. He continued to be a mainstay in the middle of the Greyhounds order. He also played a flawless first base, fielding 1.000, with 24 putouts and three assists. 

Jarett is hitting .404 on the season with 18 HR's, 53 RBI and 53 runs scored.
