- Fort Scott won big over Highland CC 14-2 on Saturday.
- Fort Scott got things started in the first inning when Brody Szako hit a solo homer.
- Fort Scott notched five runs in the sixth inning. The rally was led by a single by Peyton Messenger, a sacrifice fly by Mitchell Szczygiel, and a home run by Evann Long.
- Alex Khan got the win for Fort Scott. The righty allowed two hits and one run over four and two-thirds innings, striking out five. Alex Johnson and Austin Neal entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
- #8 took the loss for Highland CC. The pitcher allowed four hits and five runs over two and a third innings, striking out one.
- Fort Scott socked four home runs on the day. Szako had a dinger in the first and fourth innings. Long had a four bagger in the sixth inning. Louis Holt put one out in the fourth inning.
- Fort Scott collected 12 hits. Szako and Long each collected multiple hits for Fort Scott. Long and Szako each managed three hits to lead Fort Scott.
