- Fort Scott stole the lead late in the game in a 7-6 victory over Johnson County on Saturday. Fort Scott trailed 6-5 in the top of the ninth inning when Peyton Messenger doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
- Fort Scott was boosted by Messenger who went 4-for-5 at the plate. Messenger doubled in the second, homered in the fourth, singled in the eighth, and doubled in the ninth.
- Johnson County captured the lead in the second inning. Johnson County scored two runs when #15 singled.
- In the top of the sixth inning, Fort Scott tied things up at three. Louis Holt drove in one when Holt singled.
- Johnson County scored three runs in the sixth inning. The big inning for Johnson County came thanks to a triple by #10, a single by #6, and a sacrifice fly by #15.
- Landon Winingham pitched Fort Scott to victory. The righthander allowed one hit and zero runs over one inning, walking zero. Alex Johnson and Austin Neal entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Neal recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Fort Scott.
