- Fort Scott knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the fourth inning. Jessie Moreno hit a solo homer.
- Colby CC pulled away for good with two runs in the fifth inning. In the fifth #5 homered on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.
- #33 got the win for Colby CC. The ace allowed five hits and one run over five innings, striking out four. #12 threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. #12 recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Colby CC.
- Alex Khan took the loss for Fort Scott. The righty went four innings, allowing two runs on two hits and striking out two.
- Fort Scott launched one home run on the day. Moreno had a four bagger in the fourth inning.
- Fort Scott racked up eight hits on the day. Moreno and Louis Holt each had multiple hits for Fort Scott. Holt and Moreno all had two hits to lead Fort Scott. Fort Scott was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Landon Winingham had the most chances in the field with seven.
