- Tyler Gorman shut down Colby CC, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Fort Scott to a 2-0 victory on Sunday
- The pitching was strong on both sides. Gorman struck out seven, while #5 sat down five.
- Fort Scott got things started in the first inning when Blake Wilson homered on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.
- One bright spot for Colby CC was a double by #9 in the second inning.
- Gorman earned the win for Fort Scott. Gorman allowed four hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out seven and walking zero.
- #5 took the loss for Colby CC. The pitcher surrendered two runs on six hits over six innings, striking out five.
- Fort Scott launched one home run on the day. Wilson went for the long ball in the first inning.
- Wilson led Fort Scott with two hits in two at bats.
- #9 went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Colby CC in hits. Colby CC didn't commit a single error in the field. #3 had six chances in the field, the most on the team.
