Five Greyhound Baseball Players Selected to KJCCC East All-Conference List

Five Fort Scott Community College baseball players have been named to the KJCCC East All-Conference List.  The Hounds finished the season with a record of 30-24 for the 2021 season. 

Leading the way all season was sophomore shortstop Dylan Kurahasi-Choi Foo, who was named to the 1st Team.  Foo played excellent defense all season resulting in a .972 fielding percentage.  At the plate, Foo hit .446 with 9 homeruns, 58 RBI, 64 runs, and 19 stolen bases.  The Kailua, Hawaii native will move on to play for Tartleton State University next season. 

Sophomore second baseman Carter Dobrinski was also named to the 1st team.  Coming to FSCC from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dobrinski hit .411 with 19 homeruns, 61 RBI, and 52 runs for the Hounds in 2021.  Carter will transition to Tartleton State University to play this fall.

Freshman outfielder Jake Skaggs was selected to the 2nd team.  The Walnut Grove, Missouri native hit .312 with 14 homeruns, and 45 RBI for the season. Skaggs will return to FSCC next season to anchor the Greyhound lineup for the 2022 season.

Also receiving 2nd team recongnition was freshman relief pitcher Austin Neal.  Coming to FSCC from Claremore, Oklahoma, Neal posted a stellar 1.83 ERA in 34.1 innings pitched.  Additionally, Neal posted a mark of 12.84 stikeouts per 9 innings pitched.  Neal will return to FSCC this fall to anchor the Greyhound bullpen.  

Sophomore catcher Travler Moore was named Honorable Mention All-Conference.  For the season, Moore hit .326 with 6 homeruns, 26 RBI, and 25 runs.  Behind the plate, Moore was exceptional with a fielding percentage of .991, only committing two errors on the season.
