Gemini Pulido was named Head Women's Soccer Coach at Fort Scott Community College after bringing a strong background in collegiate coaching, player development, and athletic performance. She joins the Greyhounds following five seasons as an assistant coach at Central Community College, where she helped guide the program to three Region IX Championships and four postseason playoff appearances. Pulido also received Region IX staff of the year for 3 years at the CCC Women's Soccer Program. Prior to that, Pulido served as a Graduate Assistant at Dakota Wesleyan University for two seasons. Pulido gained additional head coaching experience at the club level, leading a U10 and U17 girls teams with the Mitchell Soccer Association.
A former student-athlete herself, Pulido was a four-year starter at Dakota Wesleyan University and served as team captain for her last two seasons. She holds a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Business and a master's degree in Administrative Education. In addition to her soccer background, Pulido is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA. Pulido has also spent the last five years as the personal Training Coordinator at the Columbus Family YMCA. She has owned and operated her own Pilates studio and holds certifications in Pilates, Les Mills, and ICG Cycling, bringing a comprehensive approach to athlete development and performance.
Pulido currently resides in Fort Scott with her husband, three children, and two dogs. Pulido is excited to continue building relationships within the campus and local community while leading the women's soccer program forward.
