FSCC Men's Basketball had a great run in the Region VI tournament. The Hounds made it to the semi-finals with a huge win over Labette CC 78-60. The Hounds traveled to Mid-America Nazarene for the Semi- Final match up vs Johnson County CC.
The Hounds started out strong with a 11-4 with thirteen minutes to go in the first half. The Cavs battled back and were up at the half by five.
The Hounds battled all game and they were down nine with 8:47 to go in the game. Foul trouble hurt the Hounds with Sean Franklin fouling out of the game with 6 minutes to go.
The Hounds were down by 10 with 4:53 to go and it was to much for the Hounds as the Cavs ended up winning the game 82-64.
The stars of the game for the Hounds were Kris O'Neal with 19 points and 4 rebounds. Sean Franklin had himself a night with a double-double. Franklin finished with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 2 steals. Keryn Collins also had 16 points and 4 boards.
There was History made at Arnold Arena with the most conference wins in 15 years as well as most home wins in 15 years.

I'm so proud of how much these student athletes have achieved and are continuing to achieve. Coach Mitch and Coach Long have been so impactful, they are rising stars in the profession. Fort Scott, I promise we will continue to keep the Greyhounds on the pedestal it is on and continue to find student-athletes that'll make a lasting impact for our city."
