Hounds go 2-1

Men's Basketball had three homes games over a 4-day period. The Hounds went 2-1 over those games.  

Game 1 

The Hounds Started with Kansas Christian College JV. The Hounds shot 46% from the field and 75% from the free throw line. The game started with an 8-0 run by the Hounds and the Hounds never looked back. The Greyhounds were up at half time 43-22. The Hounds stepped on the throttle in the second half and won the game 81-55. The hounds were led by Baker Beal with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Andre Norris chipped in with 18 points 3 steals and 4 assists.

Game 2

The Hounds then took on the Pioneers of North Arkansas College. The game was back and forth throughout the night and came down to the wire. The hounds were down early, the Pioneers came out with a hot start going up by 18 in the first 10 minutes of the half. The Hounds settled in and made the score close at half with the Pioneers leading by 5 at the break. The two teams in the second half went shot for shot with the Hounds scoring 53 and North Ark scoring 54. The Hounds put up a great fight but were defeated 96-90.

FSCC were led by Baker Beal with 23 points and 9 rebounds. Kris O'Neal had 19 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds. Sean Franklin and Clance Crosby both had 17 points 17 rebounds between them.

Game 3

The Hound's then took on the Patriots of Baptist Bible College reserve program. FSCC went up big in the first seven minutes. FSCC went up 18-5 and never looked back.  The Hounds led by 24 at half time and held the Patriots to just 13 points in the second half while the Hounds scored 42. FSCC ended up on top with the final score of 96-43.

 FSCC had five players in double figures. The Hounds were led by Sean Franklin who had 19 points, along with 8 rebounds. Andre Norris had 14 points with 8 assists. Clance Crosby had 13 points and 12 boards. Cooper Smith had 14 and 5 rebounds and Baker Beal had 11 and 7 with 3 steals.

The Fort Scott Greyhounds are back in action this Friday as the Head to North Arkansas College to take on St Louis CC and Dallas College Brookhaven on Saturday.
