Congratulations to Baker Beal on earning KJCCC player of the week. The Freshmen from Rock Island IL averaged 20.3 points per game last week highlighted by a 33-point effort in a 124-101 loss to Hutchinson to open the season. Beal shot an impressive 61.3 percent from the field (19-31), and 91 percent at the free throw line (21-23). Baker also had 14 points while shooting 3-7 from three along with 11 rebounds with 4 assists and 0 turnovers in a 83-77 overtime loss to #12 Coffeyville Community College.
