Jaelen Milus is entering his first year on staff with the Women's Basketball Program at Fort Scott Community College. This will be his fourth year as an assistant coach.
Jaelen says " I couldn't be more ecstatic to join Coach Andersen at FSCC. I am beyond thankful for this opportunity and I am ready to build something special here on and off the court".
Milus arrives from Fort Scott from Dallas Christian College where he was an assistant and recruitment coordinator for both the Men & Women Basketball programs. His responsibilities included: practice planning, scheduling, scouting, recruiting, and marketing, while also coaching two Junior Varsity teams for the Men's program. During his time at Dallas Christian College, he helped bring in the largest Men's Basketball recruiting class in DCC history for the 2021 - 2022 school year.
In the 2021 - 2022 season, Milus helped guide the Men's Basketball program to a 10 - 16 record with a 3rd place finish in the ACCA National Tournament. Within the same season Milus helped guide the Women's Basketball program to a 24 - 11 record with a 4th place finish in the ACCA National Tournament.
Milus played at the collegiate level at Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, OK from 2017 - 2019.
Originally from Seattle, WA. Milus graduated from Plano Senior High School in Plano, TX in 2016.
Milus is currently completing his Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies & Bible with concentrations in Psychology & History from Dallas Christian College.
