This weekend the NFL held the 2012 Draft. Six former Fort Scott Community College football players were drafted or signed as free agents.
Lavonte David was a second round pick for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. David a Linebacker transferred to the University of Nebraska after two years at FSCC. Two of David's teammates at Nebraska signed as free agents in the NFL this weekend. Former 'Hound Brandon Kinnie signed with the Kansas City Chiefs after playing at Nebraska as a Wide Receiver and Offensive Lineman Jermarcus Hardrick signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Former FSCC football player Dominique Davis is a Quarterback from East Carolina University, he signed in free agency with the Atlanta Falcons. Coryell Judie from Texas A&M is a Cornerback that will most likely be called on to return kicks for the Denver Broncos. And former 'Hound Chris Douglas, a running back from Missouri State University signed in free agency with the Buffalo Bills.
