The Fort Scott Community College men's basketball team picked up a pair of wins over the weekend against Oklahoma Wesleyan JV and Louisiana Christian Academy.
On Friday night, the Greyhounds exploded for 47 first half points en route to an 89-60 win over Oklahoma Wesleyan JV.
Tyler Zinn led the Greyhounds with 25 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Andre Nelson finished the ball game with 22 points on seven of 10 shooting, he also added three assists and two steals. Off the bench, Marshawn Williams added 12 points and six rebounds. Dontrell Sanders also finished the game in double figures with 11 points.
The Greyhounds would score 57 second half points to pull away from Louisiana Christian Academy on Saturday 101-74.
Zinn had another great night finishing with 28 points along with eight rebounds and eight assists. Three other players reached double figures for FSCC as Jayden Davis scored 18 points, Sanders and Daemar Jones added 16 and 10 respectively.
FSCC is now 7-5 overall and will host Washburn JV on Tuesday night at Arnold Arena which will be the second game of a doubleheader following the women's game.
