Greyhound Volleyball Picks up Sweep at Allen County

The Fort Scott Community College Volleyball team took care of business on Wednesday night picking up the 3-0 sweep at Allen County 25-10, 25-10 and 25-12.

The Greyhounds (25-9, 3-5) were receiving votes in the latest D-II poll before the start of the week, and piling up four straight wins could vault them into the rankings next week before the regular season comes to a close.

Megan Turner led the attack with 12 kills, the only Greyhound with double digit kills. Hanna White led the charge racking up 26 of the teams 40 assists. Katie Gorman and Deardin Kelley led the Greyhounds in digs with 18 and 15 respectively.

FSCC is 13-3 over their last 16 matches and look to continue to build on that momentum going into next week as they will travel to Kansas City Kansas Community College on Monday night with the first serve set for 6:30.
