Greyhound VB Sweeps Hesston on Sophomore Night

The Fort Scott Community College Volleyball team, receiving votes in the most recent D-II poll this past week, closes out the home schedule by sweeping Hesston on sophomore night at Arnold Arena 25-21, 25-10 and 25-13. 

The Greyhounds (24-9, 2-5) won their third straight match by getting out of the gates quick and effectively against Hesston. 

Grace Graniewski and Megan Turner each finished the night with double digit kills. Hanna White led the Greyhounds with 22 of the team's 44 assists. Katie Gorman piled up the digs count totaling 31 while Megan Turner and Deardin Kelley also finished the night with double digit digs. 

FSCC overall finished the night with 43 kills, 42 assists, 73 digs and a .269 kill percentage. 

The Greyhounds finish the regular season with road tilts at Allen County next Wednesday night and KCK on Monday, October 30th before the start of postseason play.
