The Greyhound Volleyball Team got back on track, finishing the weekend 4-0 at the East Central Tournament. On Friday, the Hounds defeated SWIC in a 3-0 score and took on hosts East Central at 5pm. It was a very close match, but the Hounds pulled it off with a 3-2 score, with the fifth set being 18-16.
"I was so proud of our young ladies on Friday. They were tired after playing back to back matches, but they played to win. It was a fight that has been missing and I feel we have it back," stated Head Coach Lindsay Hill.
On Saturday, the Hounds took on rivals Neosho County, downing them 3-1.
"This was an important match. We lost to them in five earlier and needed this for a confidence booster," said Coach Hill.
To end the tournament, Wentworth Military Academy was the opponent and the Hounds won that match 3-0.
The Hounds move to 19-9 overall. They are back in action Monday at Independence, KS for a conference show down.
