Volleyball Club Tryouts Announced

FS Juniors is a volleyball club that is entering its second year in the Fort Scott area.  We would like to invite you to tryout for your specific age group.  The Club will give you numerous opportunities to get training and playing time, all year round.  We offer qualified coaches that will assist you in getting the best training possible, plus the opportunity to start your recruiting process.

Tryouts will be held in Fort Scott at Buck Run Community Center and have been set for the following age groups:
 
Nov. 4th           1:00 pm-3:30pm          Anyone 14 and Under
Nov. 11th         1:00 pm-3:30pm          15's, 16's, 17's, 18's
 

**Buck Run Community Center is located at 735 Scott Ave, Fort Scott, KS 66701

 Please take note to the age group in which you will fall under, it may not be the same as your age at the current time.  The 'Age Definition' is included in this packet. 

We are expecting a good turnout for tryouts, hopefully being able to fill a 13, 14, 15, 16 & 18's team.  If we can, we will also have a 17's team.  This is not a club that is trying to make money; the charge for participating in the club will cover the cost of Apparel, Membership Fee, Tournament Fees, Practice facilities, Equipment, etc.  We want to provide the best training program possible, for as little as we can.  The final cost will be determined after the final number of participants is selected. (Projected cost between $325-$350 per participant)
 
Practices will be twice a week, working around the girl's schedules, including basketball.  We understand the commitment that you have to High School sports, so we will work with this.
 
In order to tryout, you must bring the following with you:
-          2012-13 USA Youth & Junior Player Medical History and Release Form

-          FS Juniors Tryout Form

-          $10 Cash or Check (made payable to FS Juniors) – for Tryout fee

-          Copy of HOA-USAV 2011-12 Individual Membership Card – Before you attend any tryouts you will need to register online. Go to www.hoavb.org then go under "Hot Topics" to "Indiv Registration". If you played last year go under "Past HOA Member needing a Webpoint Username", do a find for your name and date of birth and logon. Update or add your information and pay your registration fee. Then print off your membership card and bring that to the tryout.

If you were not an HOA member last year, go under "Never been an HOA member" and follow the steps. If you do not get selected for the club, you can apply for a refund of your individual registration fee up till December 31st.

You will not be allowed to tryout without the items above.  We have included the necessary paperwork; please make sure that YOU & YOUR PARENTS sign both sides of the forms.
