The Lady Hounds finished 3-0 on the week, to take their record to 11-1 so far in the 2012 season.  After sweeping Hesston on Wednesday, the Hounds traveled to Miami, OK on Friday to take on NEO.  After weather delays and power outages, the Hounds went five sets to win the match.  The scores were 25-20, 26-24, 16-25, 18-25, 15-8.

"The match versus NEO was challenging for us.  We struggled in serve receive, which affected the rest of our game.  However, in set five, we played very well.  I was proud of how much we fought to win that match," said Coach Hill.

On Saturday, the Hounds took on St. Gregory JV in Shawnee, OK.  In a two out of three match, the Hounds swept with scores of 25-20, 25-20.

The Hounds have a big conference match-up on Wednesday when they travel to Kansas City Kansas Community College, who are currently ranked #14 in the country.  Match time is set for 6:30 pm.
