The Greyhound Volleyball Team came out to play on Wednesday, as they swept their first conference match versus Highland. The momentum for each set was carried by the Hounds, with scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-16.
"We played great tonight. We limited our errors and controlled the match all the way through. Ashley Bell carried our team at the net. Haylee also did a lot of great things," said Coach Hill.
Bell put up 13 kills and four blocks for the Greyhounds. Toothman had 15 kills, 12 digs and 3 blocks. Schwartz added 37 assists, while Kate Smith had 15 digs.
"Starting out conference play 1-0 is bittersweet! We have a bad taste in our mouth from last year," said Coach Hill
The Greyhounds travel to Vernon, TX this weekend for the Vernon Tournament. The Greyhounds will be back home next Wednesday versus Hesston.
