The volleyball team is off to a good start, finishing the weekend 4-0. Over the course of the Fort Scott Tournament, they Greyhounds defeated Clarendon (TX) 3-2, Labette County 3-0, Cedar Valley (TX) 3-0, and wrapped up the weekend defeating Southeast Community College (NE) 3-1.
"We played very well in games two and three, but really struggled to find a rhythm in games one and four," said Coach Hill.
Overall, the weekend was a success. The Greyhounds led the tournament, finishing with a 4-0 record, followed by Clarendon 3-1, Southeast 2-2, Cedar Valley 2-2, Independence 1-3, and Labette 0-4.
"We did a lot of good things this weekend, but we also have a lot of things to work on. We will get back to work on Monday, preparing for our first conference game on Wednesday versus Highland," said Coach Hill.
Match time is set for 5:30pm on Wednesday versus Highland.
