The 'Hounds Volleyball Team not only set goals for their time on the court this year, but also for in the classroom. Six student-athletes were recently named to the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Fall All-Academic Team.
In order to make the KJCCC Fall All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have compiled a 3.5 grade point average or higher for the fall semester.
Lindsay Hill, Head Volleyball Coach, was proud of the young ladies accomplishments.
"Every year our goal is to win a National Championship, both in the classroom and on the court. These young ladies are setting themselves up for success in the future. We stress academics more than we stress volleyball. I am proud of this team and these young ladies. This is the reason we were so successful on the court!"
FSCC Volleyball Student-Athletes named to the KJCCC Fall All-Academic Team are Heather Greer, Ali Cure, Paula Okrutna, Taylyn Schwartz, Kate Smith, and Britney Timme.
