Jordyn graduated from Kansas Wesleyan University in May of 2017 with a degree in Sports Management and a minor in Coaching. Jordyn played basketball at Kansas Wesleyan University for the 2015-2016 season, earning First Team All-Conference and Defensive and Offensive Player of the Week throughout the season. Alexander averaged 13.6 points and a team-best 7.4 rebounds for the Coyotes during the season. She ranked eighth in the conference in scoring and sixth in rebounding. She led the KCAC in field goal percentage, shooting 56.6 percent from the field setting a new school record for field goal percentage.
Before transferring to Kansas Wesleyan University, Alexander played one season at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida at the NCAA Division II level. While there, the Tritons set numerous school records and made their way to their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance.
Previous to transferring to Eckerd College, Jordyn played for Cloud County Community College in Concordia, Kansas. Alexander averaged 18 points and 12 rebounds per game for the T-Birds. She earned Freshman Player of the Year, First Team All-Conference, and Second Team All-Region her freshman year. Her sophomore year she was able to earn First Team All-Conference while averaging 17 points and 10 rebounds per game.
Jordyn is originally from Washington, Kansas and graduated from Washington County High School in 2012. Alexander competed in volleyball, basketball, and track in high school. She earned honors in all three sports while competing at the State level in volleyball and track.
