The Fort Scott Community College women's basketball team picked up a victory on Saturday afternoon over S.E. Community College inside Arnold Arena, 70-67.
The Greyhounds (10-7) trailed at halftime but battled back and outscored Southeast 40-34 in the final two quarters.
Fort Scott had four players score in double figures including three starters. Jada Perry put together a solid performance leading FSCC with 14 points while adding nine rebounds, four assists and two steals. Jade Winter added 13 points while hitting three from three point range and adding five rebounds. Ally McKenzie chipped in with 13 points on five of seven shooting and Kamaya Miller off the bench provided 11 points.
FSCC hit 44% of its shots including 35% of its three point attempts while also hitting 10 of 17 from the free throw line.
Southeast posted three players in double figures led by DeAsia Walker with 16 points.
The Greyhounds also picked up a victory last week over Ottawa JV and are a perfect 3-0 in the 2018 portion of the schedule.
FSCC will play at Hesston on Wednesday night with a doubleheader alongside the men.
