FSCC Women Win Pair in Nebraska

The Fort Scott Community College Women's basketball team picked up a pair of wins over the weekend in Beatrice, Nebraska.

FSCC picked up a 68-50 win on Friday night against Southeast Community College and then followed that up Saturday afternoon with a 74-67 victory against Central Community College-Columbus.

Arkiarra Clark hit eight of 15 shots in the win on Friday night and led the Greyhound attack with 20 points and six rebounds. Seven other Greyhounds scored at least five points.

Jada Perry put together a solid stat-line despite some struggles offensively finishing the game with five points, nine rebounds, eight assists and two steals.

Sarah Kelley and Ally McKenzie combined for 14 points and 10 rebounds while Kamaya Miller finished the game with eight points and six rebounds.

The Greyhounds improve to 7-6 overall with the two wins and will play at Washburn JV on Monday night at 5:30 in Topeka.
