The Fort Scott Community College Women's basketball team got back to .500 on Wednesday afternoon with a 79-63 victory at Sterling.
The Greyhounds (3-3) were efficient on offense shooting over 47% from the floor and 42% from three point range. The middle two quarters is where FSCC was able to create their separation as they outscored Sterling's JV 52-35 in the second and third quarters.
The Greyhound defense forced 18 turnovers and racked up 15 steals with five players each registering two steals in the ball game.
FSCC had the advantage in the game in points off turnovers, points in the paint and second chance points.
The women are back in action this weekend as part of the Gladbach Classic at Arnold Arena with games against Bacone JV on Friday night at 6:00 and Cottey College on Saturday at 4:00.
