Head Women's Basketball Coach Katie Reihmann has announced the signing of eleven student athletes.
Amanda Cicero is a Point Guard from Frontenac, Kansas. Amanda attends Frontenac High School and averaged 6 points per game her senior year. She was First Team All-Conference player, All County Sixth Man, Kansas Scholar, All A's, and All State Honorable Mention. Amanda plans to major in Biology.
"Amanda has great anticipation on the court at the point guard position. She is a very scrappy player who finds a variety of ways to score and help the team," commented Coach Reihmann.
Hayley Dellinger is a Guard from Gardner, Kansas. Hayley attends Gardner-Edgerton High School and averaged 5 points per game and 5 rebounds per game her senior year. She was on the EKL Conference All-Academic Team two years and received honors at the Battle of the Border Tournament by making the All-Tournament Team. Hayley plans to major in Nursing.
"Hayley has great potential and can do so many different things on the court. I can't wait to watch her develop into a scorer here at FSCC," stated Coach Reihmann.
Emily Brooks is a Point Guard from Hume, Missouri. Emily attends Hume High School and before a senior season ending knee injury, averaged 17 points per game, 11 assists per game, and 5 steals per game. Emily received All Conference Honors three years, All District honors two years, and is an Honor Roll student who also is in the National Honor Society. Emily plans to major in Education.
"Emily is a point guard who can do so much. She is a great shooter but also loves to get the ball to other players to score. I think her injury this past season will only make her a better player as she comes into her freshman year here at FSCC," commented Coach Reihmann.
Baylea White is a Post from Mound City, Kansas. Baylea attends Jayhawk-Linn High School and averaged 15 points and 6 rebounds per game. She received First Team All-League three years, Honorable Mention All-State two years, and helped lead her team to a fourth place finish at the state tournament her sophomore year. Baylea plans to major in Physical Education.
"Baylea is a great scorer in the post. She has the ability to catch the ball from outside the post and attack the basket as well. She will bring toughness in the post that we need to compete in our Region next year," commented Coach Reihmann.
Emily Feldman is a Guard from LaCygne, Kansas. Emily attends Prairieview High School and averaged 12 points and 5 steals per game. Emily received All-League 1st team honors two years, All-State Honorable Mention one year, is an Honor Roll student and is also in the National Honor Society. Emily plans to major in Elementary Education.
"Emily is a very good scorer; she finds any way she can to get to the basket or the free throw line. She also does a great job rebounding from the guard position," stated Coach Reihmann.
Andrea Valadez is a Guard from El Dorado, Kansas. Andrea attends El Dorado High School and averaged 12 points and 7 rebounds per game. She also shot 35% from behind the arc. She received All-League honors two years, Honorable Mention All-State two years, and her senior year at the Chapman tournament received First Team tournament honors and MVP. Andrea plans to major in Nursing.
"Andrea is a great shooter and a physical guard. She will do a great job here at FSCC being a scorer and helping us on a defensive end," commented Coach Reihmann.
Taylor Hauser is a Forward from Valdosta, Georgia. Taylor attends Valdosta High School and had the most three pointers on her team and received Player of the Game honors during her senior season. She helped her team reach the Elite Eight her senior season. Taylor plans to major in Education.
"Taylor is an outstanding shooter and tall guard who can help us down in the post as well. She has a great work ethic and knows what it takes to win," stated Coach Reihmann.
Jessica McAdams is a Post from Miller, Missouri. Jessica attends Miller High School and averaged 19 points and 10 rebounds per game. She received All-Conference and All-District honors following her senior season. Jessica participates in a variety of clubs in her high school. Jessica plans to major in Physical Therapy.
"Jessica has great footwork in the post. She can really get out and run the floor from the post position. I am excited that Jessica has chosen FSCC to continue her basketball career," commented Coach Reihmann.
Denise Levine is a Guard from San Antonio, Texas. Denise attends MacArthur High School. Denise plans to major in Education.
"Denise is an outstanding shooter and leader on the court. She has the ability to really stretch the defense with her shooting abilities. She is a great scorer and also brings more toughness to the guard position," stated Coach Reihmann.
Kaytlynn Banks is a Post from Round Rock, Texas. Kaytlynn attended Round Rock High School and this past year attended the University of North Texas for academics. Jessica plans to major in English and Communications.
"Kaytlynn has a great work ethic and taking a year away from basketball, she will come in ready to go from the start. I look forward to coaching Kaytlynn and watching her develop here at FSCC," commented Coach Reihmann.
Malori Gales will be a sophomore for the Hounds next season after she had a very good freshman campaign. Malori averaged 10 points per game this past season.
"Malori did a great job scoring for us as a freshman. She's been working hard in the off season to improve her shooting and continuing to make it consistent. All the hard work she has been putting in will definitely show next season. She will be a great leader for the freshman that we have coming into the program," commented Coach Reihmann.
