Hounds End Season Despite Valiant Scoring Effort

The Hounds traveled to Brown Mackie on Saturday, March 2nd to play in the first round of the Region VI tournament.  Brown Mackie and Fort Scott split in the regular season, each winning on their home court.

In the first half, the Hounds came out on fire and were able to take a four point lead into half time with 46 points.  The second half was a litter harder for the Hounds as Brown Mackie found their shooting touch.  FSCC fell to Brown Mackie 75-90. Malori Gales had a career high 27 points, connecting on six three pointers in the game.  The Hounds had a season high 25 assists in the game.

"We had the best game of the season, but unfortunately it resulted in a loss.  We shot 50% from the field and defensively did very well.  I'm so proud of this team and the effort they gave.  We had four players in double figures and the most assists in a game this season.  It was just a great effort.  I would like to thank Burgandie, Erika, and Rachael for everything they did for this program this season," said Coach Reihmann.
