Lady Hounds Fall to KCKCC

The Hounds took on Kansas City Kansas Community College on Saturday, February 16th in Kansas City.  The first half was a defensive battle with both teams unable to get much going on offense.  After halftime, the Hounds were able to get more offense with Malori Gales and Burgandie Lewis each scoring 11 points.  The Hounds weren't able to overcome the poor shooting in the first half, falling to KCKCC 34-42.

"I thought the first half hurt us the most.  We played great defense holding KCK to only 42 points in the game. I am proud of how much pride our team took in defense, we just need to work on shooting and scoring points on nights when we hold teams to that low in scoring," said Coach Reihmann.

The Hounds next game is Monday, February 18th at Cowley Community College.
