Lady Hounds Put Up Fight Against Coffeyville

The Hounds hosted the Coffeyville Ravens on Saturday, February 2nd. The first half of the game stayed close, as the Hounds were able to take a 25-24 lead into halftime.  Rebecca Fisher made three pointers in the first half to fuel the Hounds offense.  In the second half, the Ravens came back to tie the game and send it into overtime.  Several free throw misses down the stretch hurt the Hounds as they went into overtime and were unable to get their offense going again, falling to Coffeyville, 60-69.

"I thought we did a great job defensively.  Missing several free throws in the second half really hurt us.  I am really proud of our effort and how well we shot the ball from the field tonight," said Coach Reihmann.

The Hounds tipoff again on Wednesday, February 6th in Chanute, Kansas against Neosho County Community College at 6:00pm.
