The Hounds made the short trip over to Cottey College on Friday to play their fifth game of the season. Cottey jumped out to an early 10 point lead and Fort Scott was never able to recover. Towards the end of the second half, the Hounds went on a run to bring the gap down to 13 points, but they weren't able to get any closer as Cottey pulled away with the win, 70-51.

Burgandie Lewis had a season high 17 points and 19 rebounds and Erika McKenzie had her first double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds. This loss dropped the Hounds record to 3-2.

Fort Scott Women's Basketball team is back in action on Tuesday November 20^th at 5:30pm.
