The Greyhound Women's Basketball team is preparing for this upcoming season next week. This year's team will consist of six returners and six freshmen. Returning for the Greyhounds is Cheianne Ivy, Brittany Pearl, Erika McKenzie, Burgandie Lewis, Megan McDermed, and Rachael Eldridge. "I am looking forward to our returners growing this year both on and off the court. They have a lot of experience from last season and I know they will do great leading our incoming freshmen. "

The six incoming freshman are Rebecca Fisher from Osawatomie, Kansas; Kanitra Lee from Reserve, Louisiana; Malori Gales from Lyndon, Kansas; Danica Kelly from Girard, Kansas; D'Shawna Lee from Olathe, Kansas; and Hanna Beckwith from Liberal, Missouri. "We have a great group of young talent here at FSCC. They are all hard workers and anxious to get on the court here. It should be a very fun and exciting season. We are looking to bring a fast tempo game and really get after our opponents defensively this year."
