Arnold and Sharp honored on Sophomore Night

It's that time of year again as the season is winding down that Fort Scott Community College takes a minute to honor it's sophomores for their hard work, dedication and commitment to FSCC women's basketball.

This year the Hounds have only two sophomores to honor, the first of which is Jataeva Arnold. Jataeva was escorted by Athletic Director JD Ettore in the absences of her parents Sandra and Joey Arnold Jataeva transferred in from Brevard Community College in Florida and has stepped in at the post and made an immediate impact for the Greyhound program. Tae'. As she is known as by her teammates, is currently averaging 6ppg and 6rebs per game. Jataeva intends to major in Nursing and is looking at options to continue her playing career.

Our other sophomore is veteran player Jolee Sharp. She is the daughter of Kirk and Sis Sharp. Jolee is from Fort Scott and attended Fort Scott High School. She is a returning All Conference Player and two year starter for the Greyhounds. Currently she leads the team in scoring averaging 16ppg, 3pt FG%, FT%, Asst, and currently is ranked in the TOP 10 in the Nation in steals. Jolee received Verizon's KJCCC Player of the Week honors in week 11 and has currently scored 836 points in her career here at Fort Scott. In addition to her feats on the court, Jolee earned a 4.0 last semester. She is planning on continuing her playing career and is currently reviewing her options. She intends to major in Sports and Recreation.
