The Lady Hounds Softball Team would like to announce their 2013 Strikeout Cancer Game. This year's double header will be held on Saturday, March 16th on the campus of FSCC against Dodge City Community College. The KJCCC match up will begin at 12:00pm followed by game two at 2:00pm.
The Lady Hounds have partnered with the National Fastpitch Coaches Association for their Strikeout Cancer initiative. The NFCA and American Cancer Society began the Strikeout Cancer initiative more than ten years ago and have raised over tens of thousands of dollars to support the fight against cancer.
In support of the NFCA and the American Cancer Society, the Lady Hounds will be selling FSCC Strikeout Cancer t-shirts in efforts to raise money for cancer research. The shirts will be $15, with all proceeds going to the Strikeout initiative. If interested, pre-sale t-shirts will run through Thursday, February 28th.
