The Fort Scott Community College Lady Hounds Softball team wrapped up their fall scrimmage season in early October.
"We had a very productive fall," said Lady Hound Head Coach Kristin Schalk. "It was a great opportunity for us to grow as a team by getting to know one another on the field,"
The Lady Hounds competed against a variety of opponents, including Neosho County Community College, Allen County Community College, Cottey College and Evangel University, playing both home and away double headers.
With the spring season right around the corner, the Lady Hounds are working hard in the off season workouts to prepare themselves for the season ahead. Preseason practice opens up on January 12th with the first official game on February 14th against Ottawa University's JV.
"Our season will be here before we know it and I know we are ready to get back out there and play some Lady Hound Softball."
