The FSCC Softball team began preparing for the upcoming holiday season by sending words of encouragement to deployed members of the military.

The team members created signs with messages of "Merry Christmas," "Happy Holidays," and "Thank You" all aimed at showing appreciation for the service of our soldiers. During lunch and home basketball games, members of the FSCC community were invited to write their own messages of thanks and well wishes or simply add their signature to a banner. The amount of community support was overwhelming.

The team mailed six signs, covered in signatures, that will be distributed to a variety of locations and branches of service by the A Million Thanks Organization (www.AMillionThanks.org).
