Multiple Greyhounds with KJCCC Postseason Honors

The Fort Scott Community College football had multiple players receive postseason honors from the KJCCC.

Leading the way for FSCC were second team selections; WR Ed Aldred, DT Daeqwan Bailey, DE Jeffrey Keene and CB Elmore Hempstead.

Aldred was one of the most prolific receivers this season in the conference finishing this season with 643 yards and six touchdowns while averaging over 12 yards per reception. Bailey was a force on the defensive line finishing the season with 35 total tackles, seven and a half sacks and five and a half tackles for loss. Keene finished fourth on the team with 45 total tackles along with 11.5 tackles for loss and nine and a half sacks which led the team. Hempstead finished with 18 total tackles, two interceptions and led the Greyhounds in pass break ups.

Honorable mention selections for FSCC featured WR Kyle Harrison, QB Dalton Sneed, LB Dominic Cizauskas and K/P Brody Southwell.

The Greyhounds finished 2017 under first year head coach Kale Pick at 4-6 overall and 2-5 in conference play.
