Hounds Cap Off Regular Season and Prepare for Playoffs

The Greyhound baseball team finished both its conference and non-conference regular season this past week winning five of their last six games.  Last weekend saw the Greyhounds win their final conference season series versus the Allen County Red Devils.  They took the first three games of the four game series to clinch a second place finish in the Jayhawk East Division. 

Wednesday brought the #6 ranked Crowder College Roughriders to town for the final non-conference game of the year.  The Greyhounds won that contest 12-10, marking their sixth win of the year versus nationally ranked opponents.  Overall, the Greyhounds finished with a 38-15 record and received votes for the top 20 in the most recent NJCAA poll.

The Greyhounds finished the year with a conference record of 23-13 and will host the first round of playoffs versus the Pratt Community College Beavers on Sunday, May5th at 1:00pm.
