On these commitments, head baseball coach John Hill III comments, "We are very proud of each of these guys. They have each found a school that they are comfortable with academically, athletically, and socially. As a program, we are most proud of the fact that seven of these nine players have also earned academic scholarships to these institutions in addition to their baseball scholarships. The other two players could still possibly earn academic scholarships as the school year progresses. That is the most important achievement of all and as a program we would like to congratulate these nine sophomores."
