Former Greyhound Adam LaRoche Racks Up MLB Honors

Former FSCC Baseball and current MLB player, Adam LaRoche capped off his best year statistically with multiple postseason honors while playing for the Washington Nationals. LaRoche, who played at FSCC in '98-'99, hit .271 with 33 homeruns and 100 RBI's. Over his 9 year career, LaRoche has accumulated a .268 batting average, 197 homeruns, and 684 RBI's. His honors for 2012 include: NL Gold Glove for 1B, Silver Slugger Award for 1B, and 7th in voting for the NL MVP.
