Baseball Starts Fall Ball

After two and a half weeks of hard work, the Greyhound Baseball team went to test their efforts in their first of 14 fall scrimmages Thursday, September 6th versus Allen County.

About the scrimmage, 5th year Head Coach, John Hill III commented, "I would consider the first scrimmage a success in moving forward. Our goals for the first scrimmage were as simple as possible - play hard and throw strikes. We accomplished both and plan on moving forward from there. Our players understand they need to crawl before they can walk and each scrimmage is an opportunity to grow as a team."

The baseall team was forced to cancel its second scrimmage of the fall Sunday, September 9th due to wet conditions. Their next scheduled fall scrimmage is Thursday, September 13th at Allen County Community College at 3:00pm.
